About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cloud Network Engineer to join our team at Barracuda. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting complex cloud and network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the network team in designing and implementing network architectures for on-premises datacenters and cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise as a subject matter expert to advise the entire IT organization on cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and develop solution proposals for network and cloud solutions.
  • Periodically review the development cycle of network systems to meet enterprise requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of each step through problem management tools.
  • Responsible for organizing pre-implementation tasks and administrative processes.
  • Work with global teams to coordinate network installation and infrastructure changes as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing revision of company standards for networking and systems.
Requirements
  • Significant experience with cloud (AWS, Azure) networking and/or security.
  • 7+ years of experience with network design, solution proposal, and implementation.
  • Experience in maintaining complex local area networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Next Gen Firewall Features like URL, IPS, Malware, and content filtering.
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
  • Strong skills in cloud network and security design, critical thinking, and excellent communication.
