About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Sirat Truck Repair Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial vehicles to identify and repair any mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair complex mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for repairs, ensuring transparency and fairness in our business practices.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and delivering high-quality repairs that meet their expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of mechanics and technicians to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and improve our overall service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with occasional overtime required
  • Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods
