Clinical Program Director

The Senior Clinical Program Director - Seniors Health is a key leadership role at Unity Health Toronto Providence HealthCare, responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and delivery of high-quality patient care services for seniors. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior operational leadership for the Seniors Health program, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services.
- Direct and align clinical operations to achieve corporate and program objectives, including quality improvement initiatives and financial management.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance patient care and services, in collaboration with stakeholders and community partners.
- Collaborate with executive and peer leaders to foster engagement and wellness of staff, and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community partners, to advance the strategic objectives of the program.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related health discipline.
- Regulated health professional with certification in good standing from the relevant regulatory body.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a rehabilitation or complex care setting.
- Experience in leadership at a director level is an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of program management concepts, including process development and implementation, human resource management, and financial management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and fiscal management.
- Demonstrated values-based leadership competencies, including collaboration, negotiation, conflict resolution, and human and financial management.
