We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver with experience in flatbed transportation to join our team at 2472901 ONTARIO INC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a flatbed truck, transporting goods safely and efficiently, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Safely transport goods on a flatbed truck, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Logistics: Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS navigation.
- Customer Service: Provide professional service to customers, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with varying locations and weather conditions.
