Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at PNJ Holdings Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning: Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Task Organization: Organize tasks to accomplish work efficiently and effectively.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring the smooth flow of supplies and materials.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve common goals.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • General Office Duties: Perform general office duties, including administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Dispatch and Coordination: Co-ordinate the dispatch of personnel and vehicles, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Issue Resolution: Follow-up on issues with work orders, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to calls from individuals in life-threatening situations, requiring assistance and support.
  • Safety Monitoring: Monitor safety conditions, ensuring a safe working environment and minimizing risks.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Asset Languages: Hindi, Panjabi (Punjabi).
  • Work Setting: Wood treatment plant.
