Relief Custodian

The Relief Custodial Worker is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and care for school facilities and equipment
• Ensure a healthy, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
• Respond to emergencies and unexpected situations in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other facilities staff to achieve common goals and objectives

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly in the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
