About the RoleAs an Employed Student Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, residents, and clients, utilizing your skills and knowledge gained through your nursing education program. You will work under the supervision of experienced nurses and educators, who will support your transition from student to new graduate nurse.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established nursing standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Currently enrolled in a recognized nursing education program in BC, with a minimum of 2nd year completion.
- Successful completion of at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation in your nursing program.
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with BCCNM as an Employed Student Registrant.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Healthcare Provider CPR).
- A comprehensive health benefits package, including MSP, extended health, and dental.
