Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at AP Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials. They will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent client focus, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
