Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, promoting food and beverage sales, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Upsell and promote food and beverage sales to increase revenue
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and service goals
  • Stay up-to-date on menu offerings, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to guests
  • Perform cash handling and point-of-sale duties accurately and efficiently

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent required
  • One year of bartending experience in a bar or pub setting required
  • Cash handling experience required
  • Point of sale experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

Our casino, restaurant, or bar environment can be fast-paced and noisy, with some exposure to odors and lifting. You must be able to work in a non-traditional work environment and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
