About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Dairy Queen Antigonish. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
