Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Taco Time, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team of dedicated professionals to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our food is prepared to the highest standards.

Tasks:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
  • Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and that our customers are satisfied with their dining experience.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our restaurant is meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive their food in a timely and efficient manner.
Supervision:

You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people, and will be responsible for providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

  • Team player: You will be working as part of a team, and will be responsible for supporting your colleagues to ensure that our restaurant is operating effectively.
