About the Role:

Nakiska Ski Resort is seeking a skilled Repair and Tuning Technician to join our team. As a key member of our resort's operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of rental equipment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and sort incoming skis and snowboards according to established protocol
  • Tune and repair skis and snowboards using the Wintersteiger tune machine
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Organize and prepare equipment for delivery to guests
  • Clean and maintain equipment, workspace, and tools
  • Assist the RRR Manager with additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of ski and snowboard maintenance and tuning
  • Knowledge of ski and snowboard construction and epoxy
  • Certification in ski mounting, torque testing, and DIN settings
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The Repair and Tuning Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. The employee must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities.
