About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Stagwood Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs with attention to detail and safety.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a stable and even surface.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, keeping the area safe and clean.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors, at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • English language proficiency is essential for communication and safety protocols.
  • 35-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
