Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our culinary team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Estimate Ingredients and SuppliesEstimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, taking into account menu items, customer demand, and inventory levels.
Quality Control and AssuranceEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Record Keeping and ReportingMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Culinary Knowledge and ExpertiseHave a thorough knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, including menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Team Leadership and SupervisionSupervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and lead a team of food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsWork in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure to meet customer demands.
Personal Qualities and SkillsExhibit efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Requirements- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 30 to 40 hours per week
