Job Summary:

Captain Meat & Poultry LTD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Processing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of food safety and quality in our meat processing and packing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, adhering to precise measurements and quality standards.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging.
  • Conduct regular checks on products and packaging for basic quality defects, reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a meat processing or packing environment is an asset.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience and skills are essential.
  • Ability to work on-site at our meat processing and packing plant, with no option for remote work.
