Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Pharmacist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is committed to delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
  • Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications.
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations.
  • Administer vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program.
  • Provide pharmaceutical professional services such as medication reviews.
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor's requests/issues.
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy.
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacists license.
  • 0-2 years work experience.
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills.
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system.
