We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while also maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bus.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
- A competitive hourly wage of $18.04.
- No experience necessary - we provide training
- Additional hours available through charter route opportunities.
- Child ride-along program.
- No nights or weekends.
