Job Title: Assistant Team Leader

Are you a motivated and organized individual looking for a challenging role in retail management? We are seeking an Assistant Team Leader to join our team at Dollarama L.P.

About the Role:

The Assistant Team Leader provides support to the management team in executing and overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the management team in managing store operations and staff.
  • Boxing and unboxing daily shipments
  • Stocking daily products on shelves.
  • Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
  • Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
  • Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
  • Following-up on assigned tasks
  • Conducting managers on duty tasks: making sure daily breaks, time and attendance are taken
  • Participating in the hiring and performance management process.
Requirements:
  • Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry
  • At least one (1) year in a supervisory role
  • Flexible availability required (day, evening, weekend)
  • Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrates leadership, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Customer service oriented
