About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist to join our team at Roop Beauty Bar. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair to meet their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools to achieve the desired look.
  • Shampoo and Treat Hair: Shampoo customers' hair, and provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.
  • Color and Style Hair: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, and cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to create a unique and personalized look.
  • Consult with Clients: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, and provide guidance on how to maintain and care for their hair.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of clients and a variety of tasks to complete.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as cutting and styling hair, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that each client's hair is styled and cut to their exact specifications.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Use hand-eye coordination to perform tasks such as cutting and styling hair, and to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the salon to attend to clients and complete tasks.
