We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Product Assembler to join our team at BRC Group - Tayco. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing high-quality wood products, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and manufacture wood products, including desks, credenzas, and storage units, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate hand and power tools, such as drills and pneumatic guns, to assemble and finish products.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines and achieve quality goals.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve production issues, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in manufacturing and quality control.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.96, plus $1.50/hour shift premium for afternoon shifts.
