About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at 2590235 Ontario Inc. as a Restaurant Position. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. The role requires standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
