About the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanics (AME-M) Role

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanics (AME-M) performs aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul tasks in accordance with industry standards and company policies. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul tasks in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Assist and coach junior technicians as required.
  • Ensure all work tasks are performed in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the applicable governing body).
  • 48+ months' experience performing AME duties.
  • Holder of AME license or equivalency.
  • Good communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the area of Mechanics.
  • Ability to ensure that approved standards of quality control are maintained.
  • Safe work practices and techniques.
  • Basic coaching and leadership skills.
