Job Summary

CS Group Canada is seeking an experienced Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and integrating next-generation autonomous driving platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct software testing in accordance with ISO 26262 standards.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to verify design correctness.
  • Debug issues raised during the software development cycle.
  • Update design based on design details templates and guidelines.
  • Ensure traceability between software design and test artifacts.
  • Contribute to testing strategy development.
  • Perform independent peer reviews of tests and design produced by team members.
  • Draft final technical documents.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of team performance.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in automotive domain and experience with ISO 26262 standards.
  • Experience with UML design using Enterprise Architect.
  • Expertise in C++ programming language.
  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of Vectorcast and structural coverage analysis.
  • Experience with embedded testing and test environment creation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Azure for testing and Jira project management.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and Tricore compiler.
  • Experience with DO178B/C and Embedded C programming.
  • Experience with Requirement-Based Testing and Model-Based Testing.
  • Experience with Failure analysis and detection resolution.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as Arinc429, CAN, I2C, and SPI.
