Position Overview

The Culinary Support Staff at MELT WICH FOOD CO. plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment. This position involves various tasks that contribute to the overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setting: Arrange clean dishes, utensils, and other items in serving areas.
  • Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen items, including dishwasher mats and waste disposal units, are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining space.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to effectively wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Stock Management: Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
  • Inventory Control: Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces and storage spaces.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
Qualifications

Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
