About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Jewellery Repairer to join our team at New Shadi Jewellers. As a Jewellery Repairer, you will be responsible for restoring and maintaining the beauty of our customers' precious jewellery pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appraisal and Identification

Examine and appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect any peculiarity that may affect their value.

Repair and Restoration

Examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems to restore their original beauty.

Design and Fabrication

Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery, including intricate designs and carvings.

Setting and Mounting

Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings, ensuring precise and delicate craftsmanship.

Carvings and Design

Produce carvings from wood, stone, and other materials, and design metal jewellery, utensils, implements, wall hangings, and other objects.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Terms

Permanent position.

Work Language

English.

Hours

35 hours per week.
