**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Affairs Technician to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization's legal interests by providing technical support and expertise.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process and analyze legal files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Conduct technical studies, research, and analysis on legal topics to provide informed solutions and action plans.
  • Provide technical support for tasks, projects, and operational issues, assisting legal staff with initiatives and planning and coordinating legal activities.
  • Prepare and draft reports, documents, summaries, and technical notes to facilitate communication and decision-making.
  • Follow up with practitioners and forward files in accordance with established processes.
  • Help practitioners understand and use our unit's processes and tools.
