The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Collaborating with technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Managing shop comebacks, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any disputes or concerns.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Automotive Trade Certificate.
- Minimum 10 years of trade experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Previous experience working with General Motors products is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License.
