Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years in a related field is essential.
- Organize and schedule materials, tools, and personnel for efficient operations.
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices.
- Connect piping systems to water sources, including mains, tanks, and pumps.
- Install necessary supports for piping systems and fire protection equipment using various tools.
- Install valves, alarms, and related equipment to ensure system functionality.
- Utilize soldering and welding techniques to join pipes and sections.
- Conduct servicing and repairs on sprinkler systems.
- Oversee and supervise the work of other employees.
- Perform leak tests on systems using air or liquid pressure methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of pipe units and fittings.
- Prepare openings for pipes in various structures using hand or power tools.
- Install and configure supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to meet specifications.
- Replace worn components and reactivate systems as needed.
- Select appropriate types and sizes of pipes for installations.
- Conduct thorough leak tests using specialized testing equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
This position involves duties that contribute positively to environmental outcomes.
