Chef Job Description

Général Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at GINZA SUSHI & POKE. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Durée de l'emploi: Permanent

  • Heures de travail: 30 to 40 hours per week

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.
