Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for the company
  • Review sales data and market trends to determine inventory levels and purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on purchasing strategies and inventory management
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a wholesale establishment/store environment, with a focus on maintaining adequate stock levels and negotiating prices with suppliers.
