Advisor, Strategy & Investment Solutions

Are you passionate about investments and securities? Do you want to make a meaningful impact in the field of wealth management? We're seeking a talented Advisor, Strategy & Investment Solutions to join our National Bank Financial Wealth Management (NBFWM) team.

Your Role:
  • Act as a key point of contact for Wealth Advisors, providing expert guidance and support within the Strategy and Investment Solutions team.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to develop tailored solutions for their clients, leveraging your analytical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Gain valuable insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of an investment advisor, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Support team initiatives, including data analysis, investment meetings, and business discussion workshops.
  • Produce reports to support investment advisors, providing essential information for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct analyses to inform business decisions, staying informed of industry trends and changes.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve service offerings, including business, investment, and technology aspects.

You'll be part of a dynamic team of wealth management experts supporting nearly 1,000 advisors across Canada. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and risk-taking, and we're committed to empowering our employees to make a positive impact.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the business world, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and Wealth Advisors.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Solid knowledge of collaboration tools, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Initiative, versatility, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Assets:
  • Knowledge of fee-based offerings from brokerage firms.
  • Experience in wealth management, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
