About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpentry Assistant to join our team at Kamow Finishing Carpentry Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Support: Provide support to our carpentry team in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance work and clean and pile salvaged materials.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in various locations.

Personal Qualities and Experience
  • Flexibility and Reliability: We are looking for someone who is flexible and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience an Asset: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language and Work Schedule: Fluency in English is required, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week.
