About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Elaine DG. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with taking their medications, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, with a focus on providing care and support to individuals in their own homes.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
