Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary School Teacher to join our team at York Region District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Grade 5-6 students and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario teaching certification
  • Experience teaching Grade 5-6 students
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
