What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an individual to join us as an Optical Associate, bringing your exceptional skills and experience to our team.

The Optical Associate plays a vital role in our organization, providing outstanding service to our patients. As a key point of contact, your passion for people and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience will be essential. Your contributions will help us positively impact the health and well-being of our patients.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 30 or more hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educating clients on the best eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive optimal value and quality
  • Informing patients about advancements in eyewear solutions and assisting them in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and functional needs
  • Interpreting optical prescriptions as provided by optometrists
  • Conducting frame and facial measurements to ensure proper fit and positioning of eyewear
  • Submitting eyewear prescriptions to the manufacturing lab
  • Performing repairs and adjustments on patients' eyewear
  • Organizing and maintaining the retail display area
  • Contributing to the achievement of store sales goals
  • Upholding high standards of customer service through your interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Familiarity with the optical field or knowledge of routine eye care is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A professional demeanor and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in technology and computer use, with solid skills in MS Office Suite
  • Dedicated to excelling as part of a high-performing team
