About the Role

The Data Engineer - Enterprise Analytics will play a key role in providing reporting and analytic solutions to meet evolving business needs at Saputo Inc. This individual will drive the development of a scalable Business Intelligence (BI) strategy and deployment of the latest Analytics software platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement sustainable analytic solutions with strong business acumen and technical skills.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs and technical groups to ensure efficient creation of BI solutions.
  • Develop complex solution components with exceptional performance capable of processing large volumes of data.
  • Own and administer the MS Fabric platform, ensuring designs are scalable and deliver expected business outcomes.
  • Define test plans and conduct performance tuning and data profiling.
  • Coach and mentor Business Analytics and Functional teams on MS Fabric technologies and processes.
Requirements
  • Proficient Data Engineer with experience in Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Data bricks.
  • Strong SQL skills and basic Power BI skills, including DAX.
  • Understanding of MS Fabric tools and experience with enterprise estimating tools and delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced project environments with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, and language.
