Job Summary

NPC NORTHLAND BUILDERS INC. is seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment

As a Drywall Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • or equivalent experience
