About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Washer to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments, collecting soiled linen from various hospital departments, maintaining the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures, and washing, drying, folding, sorting, and labeling personal resident clothing.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience, knowledge of Infection Control procedures, and competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
