Job Title: Butcher - Retail or Wholesale

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale to join our team at Davisol Global Foods. As a key member of our retail meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
  • Price and label meat products
  • Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters
  • Grind meats and prepare special orders
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail meat department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy loads
