Job Summary

Ron's Auto Service Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 48 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment.
