Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic Technician

Matrix HR is currently recruiting for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic Technician to join our team at an International Truck OEM dealer with locations throughout southern Alberta.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, Day shifts, with a competitive hourly rate of $41.25/hr, increasing to $42.25/hr once training is complete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and transport equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve dealership goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in the truck and transport industry
  • Proven industry background with Cummins experience and training
  • Exceptional diagnostic capabilities
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) license (preferred)
  • HET - truck and transport mechanic license (preferred)
