Job Title: Software Developer

Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to understand their software requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Write, modify, and integrate software code to create efficient and effective applications.
  • Maintain existing software applications by making modifications as required.
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize software applications.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on software applications.
  • Source and select information for inclusion in software applications.
  • Create and optimize content for software applications using various graphics and software tools.
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications for software applications.
  • Research and evaluate software products to ensure they meet our clients' needs.
  • Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive applications.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls on software applications.
  • Program special effects software for film and video applications.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Reader, Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Informatica, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other software tools.
  • Knowledge of database software, networking software, and presentation software.
  • Experience with MS Windows, SharePoint, and MS Excel.
