Job Title: Adjunct English Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct English Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. As an Adjunct English Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English courses to our diverse student population.

Job Summary:

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is a state-supported 1890 land grant HBCU with a diverse student population, competitive degree offerings, and stellar faculty. We are seeking a part-time faculty member to teach English courses and contribute to the academic success of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach English courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline and higher education teaching experience. Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Benefits:

This is a part-time faculty position with a competitive salary based on class enrollment and highest degree attained by Instructor. Benefits are not eligible for this position.
