Key Responsibilities- Conduct Electrical Tests: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair.
- Prepare Estimates: Prepare written estimates of repair costs for customers, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Plan Service Routes: Plan and optimize service routes to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs.
- Repair and Replace Components: Repair and replace faulty electrical components, using schematic drawings and product manuals as necessary.
- Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Operate Shop Equipment: Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical appliance repair and maintenance.
- Work Setting: On-site customer service, with the ability to work in various locations.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and a vehicle supplied by the employer.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
