Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Counter Attendant involves providing exceptional service in a bustling dining environment. You will be responsible for various tasks that ensure a smooth operation at the food counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food inventory and usage.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers efficiently at counters or buffet stations, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Order Management: Take and process customer orders with attention to detail.
  • Stock Management: Regularly stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Food Handling: Utilize manual and electrical appliances for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming food items.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in designated storage areas.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
Work Environment

This position is a permanent role with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
