**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. As a key member of our steel fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating various steel fabrication equipment, including band saws, CNC punches, shears, CNC drill, and burning machines.

**Responsibilities**

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Operate steel fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Lift or move steel materials into position using overhead cranes
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and healthy environment

**Requirements**

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a steel fabrication environment is considered an asset
  • Flexibility to work night shifts on rotations
  • Completion of high school
  • CSA-approved steel toe boots
