We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at Cheam Taxi Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients. This includes driving a taxi, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Responsibilities- Drive a taxi safely and efficiently to pick up and drop off passengers
- Handle customer transactions, including collecting fares and providing change
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including regular cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles
- Provide basic tourist information to passengers
- Operate dispatch systems and two-way radios to communicate with dispatchers and other drivers
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times
- Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E)
- 20/20 vision

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis. The work schedule will be approximately 40-50 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
