We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Met Blinds. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and income tax returns.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
