Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at IPEX, a leading provider of advanced plastic piping systems. As a Millwright, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on all plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Address mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Assemble and install machinery and equipment using hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment.
- Operate lifting devices, scissor lifts, and genie booms as required.
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of maintaining and repairing complex machinery.
- Experience working with plastics, injection molding, or extrusion is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems, as well as effective communication and digital literacy skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate physical demands, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
