Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Meher Transport Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition, perform regular maintenance checks, and address any issues promptly.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Plan Routes and Schedules: Plan and optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with Customers and Colleagues: Respond to customer inquiries, address any concerns, and maintain open communication with colleagues and dispatch teams.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
